Madison Martinez

    Madison received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Colorado State University and completed her Masters in Chemistry and Materials Science at the University of Colorado – Boulder.

    She has worked as a research scientist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory working in battery science and hydrogen storage technology. She is currently working at a local start up company as a battery scientist testing research scale batteries for improved performance by using nanotechnology to coat the surfaces of battery materials.

    Since receiving her BS in Chemistry, Madison taught 7th grade science for two years, taught Intro to Chem at Red Rocks Community College for two years and has tutored Chemistry and sometimes Physics for high school and college students. Science education and tutoring has always been the most rewarding part of being a scientist for Madison.
