Carolyn Prince

    Carolyn Prince (Caz) has a Bachelor of Arts (Literature Major) and Bachelor of Education (Secondary – 5th-12th Grades – English and Humanities) from Griffith University in Queensland, Australia.

    In addition, she has completed a Masters of Education – School Guidance and Counseling through The Queensland University of Technology in Queensland, Australia and is currently working on a research project about gifted learners towards her Masters of Education Professional Studies Research (MEPSR) again through Griffith University.

    Caz has also completed courses in Career Development Counselling, Adult Education, Gifted Education and Classroom Behaviour Management and has taken short courses and professional development seminars in executive functioning, mindfulness and growth mindset. All of these learning opportunities have helped Caz shape her personal teaching pedagogy.

    With 14 years of teaching in the Australian public school system and 6 years of private tutoring, along with extensive counselling experience with adolescents and adults (through middle and high schools, college and beyond), Caz has developed a variety of techniques and skills that allow her to support students. She enjoys the opportunity to assist students in developing a lifelong love of learning as they gain confidence in their abilities and potential.

    Caz is currently living in Boulder County, Colorado, with her husband and two children.
