Originally from the Chicagoland area, I attended college in Athens, Ohio at Ohio University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Systems Management.
I worked five years at SBC Communications in Columbus, OH, and Chicago, IL as a Project Manager before deciding to go back to school and become a teacher. I studied group social studies, economics, and political science over the course of 2 years before entering the Graduate Teacher Certification program at Grand Valley State University in Michigan.
After graduation, I moved to Denver where I lived for 15 years teaching high school history, geography economics, and government at Adams City High School, Alameda International, and Thornton High. My main focus was on history in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme which I instructed for 12 of my 15 years in the classroom.
I now live 9500 ft up a mountain in the middle of nowhere Taos County in Northern New Mexico where I am an Accountability Coach for Just2.
