One of our founders, Mike Mannion, recently wrote a piece for the Daily Camera outlining how to stop educators from quitting the classroom. In his article, he discusses the importance of providing more resources and support for teachers in order to keep them in their roles. Mike argues that our education system is failing to give teachers the resources they need and that many are leaving the profession due to lack of recognition and appreciation for their work.

Our article is part of a larger conversation about improving teacher retention rates, and provides valuable insight into how our education system can better support experienced educators–educators who are essential for providing quality learning experiences for our children. It is essential that school districts around the country take into account the strategies described to sustain veteran teachers, to benefit children, parents, faculty members, and administrators alike.
